What Does Eyeliner Tattooing Cost ?
What Exactly Is Microblading ?
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that uses a hand held microblading pen to deposit coloured pigment underneath the skin. The procedure is medically known as Micropigmentation. A single use, sterile microblading pen has one row of tiny needles that are used to make a fine cut in to the eyebrow skin. With proper technique and care, eyebrow results will look beautiful and natural. Clients can literally wake up with perfect eyebrows. Every single day.
The microblading procedure consists of two appointments. During the first appointment we will spend as much time as needed to get the exact shape of your brows stenciled in to place, followed by a complete microblading session of each eyebrow. After the first appointment we will wait four weeks to return for your follow up appointment. At your follow up appointment we will be able to clearly see how the eyebrows healed and where they will need some minor touching up to perfect the process. During this follow up appointment, we will set-up exactly as your first appointment and completely go over each eyebrow in its entirety. This will ensure that both eyebrows are absolutely perfect.
All professional microblading should consist of two appointments. Be wary of anyone offering single appointment sittings as a complete service.
Does Cosmetic Tattooing Hurt ?
Before a procedure begins a highly effective topical anesthetic numbing solution will be applied. This solution will be applied throughout the procedure as needed. Microblading discomfort has often been compared to that of tweezing brows, but I think that is a little bit misleading. There is definitely some pain involved, but nothing significant. Eyeliner and lips vary from person to person, but certainly not very painful. Please be prepared for any discomfort and possibly take a Tylenol (not aspirin) before your appointment.
How Long Does Cosmetic Tattooing Last ? Is It Permanent ?
Micropigmentation is semi-permanent. Numerous factors including your skin type, life-style, sun exposure, chemical peel use and beauty product use can influence the fading process. However, the natural fading process can take years and touch-up appointments are quickly and easily achieved whenever you feel the desire to sharpen up pigment. Most clients return annually (up to 18 months) for an eyebrow fill and less often for eyeliner and lips.
How Long Is The Healing Process ?
Immediately after the appointment you may experience some minor redness and irritation. This will not last long. Typically, the skin will go through a ten day healing process. After 4 to 6 weeks you will be ready for your return appointment. Then you are good to go!
Typically the healing phase goes as follows
Is Cosmetic Tattooing Safe ? I have allergies…
Cosmetic tattooing is very safe. It is often recommended that people with various conventional cosmetic make-up allergies undergo cosmetic procedures to eliminate the use of conventional make-up products and still achieve their desired look. Single use, safe and sterile hand tools are opened from vacuum sealed packages in front of the client at the beginning of every procedure. All instruments are safely disposed after every procedure is complete. Jared is certified, licensed, insured, medically trained, inspected and approved to surpass all Alberta Health regulations.

How Do I Know If I’m A Candidate For Cosmetic Tattooing ?
