Pre-Procedure Information
- Eyebrow appointment only - On the day of your procedure, pencil in your eyebrows as you normally wear them. This will give us a solid foundation to get started. Often I will ask clients to send me a face photograph to give me a head start on planning eyebrow colour and shape.
- Tweezing and waxing is not necessary. I prefer to do this for you.
- Schedule enough time so you don’t have to leave early.
- 3 hrs max for eyebrows. 2 hrs max for eyeliner
- Do not sun tan before or after for 1 week if possible, this will allow us to generate a more accurate pigment choice.
- No chemical peels, dermabrasion, laser or any other intense treatments 2 weeks before treatment or 2 months after.
- Do not drink coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks on the day of treatment.
- Do not take Aspirin, Niacin or Ibuprofen 24 hours before treatment. Tylenol is OK.
- A consent form and a complete medical history check upon arrival is mandatory by Alberta Health Care regulations.

Cosmetic Tattooing is not recommended if you are or have:
- Pregnant
- On keloids or if you have tendency to keloid
- Skin Cancer
- Any bleeding disorders or are taking blood thinning medication
- Under chemotherapy treatment
- Currently on Accutane or other strong retinoids (must wait until 1 month after treatment ends)
- Pace maker or major heart problems
- Active herpes
- Under the age of 18

Sue Thompson began her professional hair stylist career in 1993. From 2000 to present she has been teaching as an Aveda colour purefessional across Canada and the United States. Since 2002 her determination landed her back stage, styling hair for New York, London and Paris Fashion Week runway models. 23 seasons later she still pursues her passion for the glamour of the runway, working fashion shows in Paris, Los Angeles, Australia, Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York City. She is part of the select national Aveda core styling team that works exclusively with renowned designer Stella McCartney. She has also worked fashion shows alongside world famous designers such as Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel, Jason Wu, Betsey Johnson, Perry Ellis, Christian Siriano, Badgley Mishka, Monique L’hullier and many others, also styling the hair of famous Victoria’s Secret model, Karlie Kloss.
